From 17-19 September 2025,the Ministry of Environment (MoE), in partnership with the Rwanda Forestry Authority (RFA), organized a district-level workshop held at RFA head office ,to introduce the Forest Investment Program (FIP PRODAR) project interventions and engage key targeted groups (Youth, Women, and People with Disabilities) in discussions on their involvement in the project’s activities, identify entry points for stakeholder engagement, share key information with targeted groups, and foster collaboration among key stakeholders.

The workshop served to introduce project activities, enhance understanding of the Gender Action Plan (GAP) under the FIP-PRODAR Project, foster collaboration among project teams, local authorities, and community stakeholders, and identify priority areas for engaging women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs). It also facilitated the development of an inclusive action plan, the establishment of GBV/SEA desks at district level, and the validation of standardized reporting formats and timelines for GBV cases from districts to RFA.

The team attended the workshop
