Rwanda Forestry Authority Hosts TAC Workshop on the Congo Nile Project

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Musanze District, the Rwanda Forestry Authority (RFA), through the Congo Nile Divide Project, hosted a two-day Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) workshop to assess implementation progress, guide strategic interventions, and showcase planned activities for the next six months.

As part of the program, TAC members conducted a field visit to the Nyabihu pasturelands—one of the landscapes where the CND Project will implement silvopastoral interventions.

On the second day of the workshop, the committee visited the Mpenge River to observe both the achievements and challenges of wetland restoration initiatives led by Nature Rwanda. The visit aimed to benchmark community-led ecosystem conservation efforts and promote sustainable practices across Districts.
